Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements:
- B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a Certificate in Community Health (CCH).
- Alternatively, General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a CCH is also acceptable. The CCH should be obtained from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
Selection Process
The selection process comprises:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): This objective-type exam includes 50 questions related to Child Health, Adolescent Health, Maternal Health, Family Planning, and Communicable/Non-Communicable Diseases. The exam duration is two hours, and candidates must score at least 30% to qualify.
Salary and Benefits
Community Health Officers will receive a monthly salary of up to ₹40,000, which includes:
- A fixed component of ₹32,000
- A performance-based incentive of up to ₹8,000
