Eligibility Criteria
For Level 1 Class 1 to 5 (PRT) Teacher– candidates need 10+2 with at least 50% and a diploma in elementary education.
For Level 2 Class 6 to 8 (TGT) Teacher– a bachelor’s degree and a diploma or B.Ed. are required.
For Level 3 (PGT) Teacher– requires a master’s degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed.
How to Fill Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test HTET Online Form 2024
- Applications are usually completed online via the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) website.
- Documents like educational certificates, a recent photo, and signature will be required for upload.
- An application fee is applicable based on the category.

- Level 1 (PRT):
- Child Development and Pedagogy: Focuses on the psychology of teaching and learning for children aged 6-11 years, inclusive education, and individual differences.
- Language (Hindi and English): Covers comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and the ability to understand and use the language.
- Mathematics and Environmental Studies: Basic mathematical concepts and EVS with a focus on child-friendly teaching methods.
- Level 2 (TGT) and Level 3 (PGT):
- Child Development and Pedagogy: Emphasizes adolescent development, teaching methods, inclusive education, and educational psychology.
- Language (Hindi and English): Reading comprehension, sentence structure, grammar, and communication skills.
- Subject-Specific Content: Focuses on the subject the candidate is applying for (like Science, Social Studies, etc. for TGT, and specific subjects for PGT). It will include questions to assess a deeper understanding of the subject matter, pedagogy, and application in a classroom setting.
- General Studies: Basic Haryana GK, mental ability, reasoning, and analytical skills.
